Our office is highlighting local food resources to help make sure no family, or child, in our community feels uncertain about their next meal in light of the current uncertainty surrounding SNAP food stamp benefits.
River and Root is organizing a grocery support system for families in need of help with groceries this week. Reach out to their social media account directly if your family is need of support. Our office has sponsored five families. They are accepting food and monetary donations for anyone wishing to donate.
For the Love of Pete’s Pantry and Sabrina’s Event Space is offering free hot meals throughout November to anyone who is hungry and in need of food. Their next meal is this Tuesday November 4th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Our office will be providing food trays from Pasta Pomodoro this week.
