Back to School with Babbie

At Babbie Pediatric Dental, we love bringing smiles beyond our office and one of our favorite ways to do that is through our Back to School with Babbie visits!

Each Fall, our team visits local schools to teach about the importance of oral health. During these visits, team members talk with students about what happens during a dental appointment. This can help to ease any fears and show that visiting the dentist can be a positive, comfortable experience. We also discuss the importance of brushing and flossing, share tips for keeping teeth strong and healthy, and demonstrate proper brushing techniques with oversized toothbrushes and our favorite office mascot, Sharkey!

A lot of our little ones love when we read storybooks about teeth and healthy habits. It is always a fun time when we are guessing healthy foods and reviewing how our diet plays an important role in keeping teeth cavity-free.

Of course, no visit would be complete without a little something to take home! Each child receives a goodie bag filled with a new toothbrush and treats to help encourage healthy brushing habits at home.

We’re so grateful to Millville Day Care, Toddler Town, and Upper Deerfield Preschool, for welcoming us into their classrooms and for helping us share the message that good oral health starts early. Together, we’re helping build a foundation for lifelong healthy smiles!
