Welcome

Dr. Amanda Cole

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Amanda Cole to the Vineland area! Dr. Amanda recently joined our office as our new pediatric dentist. Prior to practicing in South Jersey, Dr. Amanda practiced pediatric dentistry in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She completed her dental training at the University of Pennsylvania where she also received a Masters in Public Health as a dual degree candidate. She then continued her pediatric specialty with Temple University, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Amanda and her husband are originally from South Jersey and are both excited to return to the area to raise their little ones, Sophia and John, along with their pup, Bailey. As a Mom, Dr. Amanda treats every child as if they were her own and aims to provide a positive experience for every family under her care.

You can expect to see Dr. Amanda more often in the office as Dr. Bill gets ready for his retirement! Dr. Bill is long overdue for a relaxing change of pace after providing care to the South Jersey community for almost three decades. He has truly been a family dentist, having seen generations of families come through his office doors as patients, then parents, and even as grandparents. Now, as a grandparent himself, Dr. Bill has begun to retire his clinical practice and the name of Pediatric Dentistry of South Jersey. He plans to spend less time doing dentistry and have more time for family and, his favorite, golfing!

Dr. Bill used to joke that when it came time to retire, if he did not find the right person, he would close his practice doors forever. By mutual luck, Dr. Bill and Dr. Amanda crossed paths and the rest is history! Dr. Amanda knew immediately that the patients and people of his practice were special and is grateful to be able to continue Dr. Bill’s legacy by keeping the doors open for the next generation of patients. The office is excited to continue to welcome old and new patients under the new name of Babbie Pediatric Dental.

It is time…, Time for Dr. Bill to hang up the “whistle brush, bumpy brush, blue
flash light and tooth counter and announce his retirement, as many of you
already know.

What do you say; I started in 1988 finishing up my Pediatric Residency and
began working at “Oracare”, opened my office in the spring of 1997 and seem like in the blink of an eye the rest is history! I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the generations of children, families, parents and grandparents that I have known and had the pleasure of treating over the years. It was a joy to see all the budding artists, athletes, singers, dancers, teachers, and doctors grow to become adults and then see their children and even grandchildren. I am fortunate to have had great help from my wonderful family and staff over the years, without whom none of my practice would have been possible. As they say when one door closes, another opens, the next generations including my granddaughter, will be cared for by Dr. Amanda Cole.

I feel very lucky that Dr. Amanda entered the picture. She is a wonderful
pediatric dentist, mother, wife and daughter and the perfect person to carry on
the practice and bring it into the next era. Dr Amanda’s philosophy about care
and treatment of patients is to be admired. She may not sing letters and numbers but the most important thing is she cares. You are left in very capable hands!

Once again I would like to thank everyone, patients, parents and staff over the
years. I could make a list of people, past and present, but it woud require
volumes and bore you even more. I have to go have coffee with my wife and
mother in law, cut the grass, work on my 1987 Jeep and play with my
granddaughter. Please say “Hi” if you see me on one of my visits to Dr. Amanda.

Thanks for he opportunity and memories!!
