This past weekend, Dr. Amanda had the privilege of attending the inaugural conference hosted by the Alliance of Independent Dentistry (AID). The AID is dedicated to supporting practices that are owned and operated by dentists themselves—not corporations or private equity groups. Their mission? To protect the integrity of patient care and ensure dentistry remains focused on people, not profits.
As an independent dental practice, we at Babbie Pediatric Dental believe deeply in that mission. We know our patients and families by name. We tailor treatment plans based on individual needs—not quotas.
Dr. Amanda came away from the conference inspired, informed, and committed to keeping Babbie a place where care is personal and trust is earned. She connected with like-minded professionals from across the country, participated in panels on the future of patient-first care, and explored new ways to keep our practice thriving without compromising on what matters most: our patients.
